Position Statement

The Assistant Commercial Director is responsible for supporting the Commercial Director in driving the strategic planning and execution of business plans to fulfil business objectives through collaboration with key stakeholders on-property in commercial, food & beverage, operations, finance and human resources and off-property in revenue, brand and commercial services.

What will you be doing?

As the Assistant Commercial Director, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the standards:

• Responsible for the leadership and support in commercial success in Sales, Groups Meetings and Events, Marketing, Revenue Management and Reservations.
• Lead the commercial team in achievement of hotel\xe2\x80\x99s key performance indicators that include but not limited to hotel\'s revenue contribution, profitability, guest satisfaction, team members\xe2\x80\x99 satisfaction and loyalty contribution.
• Prepare hotel\'s budget, monthly reports and manage weekly/ monthly forecasts and action plans.
• Support marketing strategies and activities and monitor the progress and implementation of marketing plans and results.
• Manage stakeholder relationships including third party vendors in distribution, marketing and RFP resources.
• Actively participate and support sales and marketing activities / initiatives.
• Adhere to hotel\xe2\x80\x99s safety policies, emergency rules and procedures.

• Good interpersonal, organizational skills and leadership qualities.
• Knowledge of the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s property management systems of OnQ.
• Relevant degree in a business discipline.
