Job Description

What the role is:Carry out island-wide planning, design and design-related management works in support of SDC's strategic goals.What you will be working on:

• Assist in concept and design visualization or rendering works. Carry out design research, develop concept ideas, content narrative and feasibility studies to ensure SDC's design approaches and execution are ahead of the curve in the market. Assist in conducting stakeholders\' engagements to gather feedback and for project coordination purpose. Assist in formulating Design Brief and Urban Design Guidelines to guide planning and development works. Work closely with ministries, authorities, SDC's stakeholders, consultants and contractors from project inception, ideation to final delivery of the developments i.e. end-to-end integrated design management Prepare approval papers and related materials eg. specifications and drawings etc. to facilitate clearances. Review and support SDC's Island Partners (IPs)/ tenancy works spanning from land preparation, marketing exercise, design reviews, facilitation of clearances and design management development.

• Strong design flair and a creative problem solver Understands Design Thinking IT savvy Enthusiastic self-starter and a good team player Excellent presentation and communication skills Efficient time management and able to handle deadlines Processes a recognized degree in Architectural Studies or Architecture. Relevant degree in Urban Design or Planning can be considered. Having a Diploma in BIM will be an added advantage. Software skills - Autocad, Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Photoshop, SketchUp, Illustrator, Video-editing, Rhino and Revit.
