Job Description

What the role is:Carry out island-wide planning, design and design-related management works in support of SDC\'s strategic goals.What you will be working on:

• Assist in concept and design visualization or rendering works. \xe2\x80\xa2 Carry out design research, develop concept ideas, content narrative and feasibility studies to ensure SDC\'s design approaches and execution are ahead of the curve in the market. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in conducting stakeholders\' engagements to gather feedback and for project coordination purpose. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in formulating Design Brief and Urban Design Guidelines to guide planning and development works. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with ministries, authorities, SDC\'s stakeholders, consultants and contractors from project inception, ideation to final delivery of the developments i.e. end-to-end integrated design management \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare approval papers and related materials eg. specifications and drawings etc. to facilitate clearances. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review and support SDC\'s Island Partners (IPs)/ tenancy works spanning from land preparation, marketing exercise, design reviews, facilitation of clearances and design management development.

• Strong design flair and a creative problem solver \xe2\x80\xa2 Understands Design Thinking \xe2\x80\xa2 IT savvy \xe2\x80\xa2 Enthusiastic self-starter and a good team player \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent presentation and communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Efficient time management and able to handle deadlines \xe2\x80\xa2 Processes a recognized degree in Architectural Studies or Architecture. \xe2\x80\xa2 Relevant degree in Urban Design or Planning can be considered. \xe2\x80\xa2 Having a Diploma in BIM will be an added advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Software skills - Autocad, Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Photoshop, SketchUp, Illustrator, Video-editing, Rhino and Revit.
