Job Title Assistant Director, Corporate IFM, Singapore

Summary The Assistant Director, Corporate IFM, Singapore will provide strategic leadership and support to develop and grow the Corporate IFM Business Unit within C&W Services. Reporting to the Senior Director for Corporate IFM in Singapore, the position holder will continuously demonstrate the drive to seek strategic growth, provide clear direction, ensure service excellence, maintain commercial awareness, retain operational and technical knowledge, and be strict on HSSE and Statutory Compliance.

The position holder will accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.



What you will be doing:

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain a strategic relationship with all existing and new Clients. This relationship must nurture and build confidence with our Client to ensure that C&W is providing the services that are expected under the contract and provides a solid foundation to seek growth
  • Continuously seek growth opportunities by understanding client needs and aligning services accordingly
  • The position holder, through their team, will ensure that C&W will always be the Partner of choice
Operational Excellence
  • Provide leadership and support to the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs, operational efficiency, and service excellence for clients.
  • Implement and oversee tests and audits to identify areas for operational improvement.
  • Establish a process for internal reporting (verbal and written) to keep the Senior Director informed about Business Unit matters.
Compliance & HSSE
  • At all times ensure that C&W teams are working within a health and safe environment and are fully aware of latest developments in HSSE. This include the assurance that all staff are trained to the needs of their individual role.
  • Lead the HSSE role for the Business Unit
  • Develop plans to achieve safety and environmental goals and objectives and ensure an active and effective EH&S committee.
  • Ensure that C&W is compliant with all statutory, regulatory and contract compliance
  • Ensure that corporate processes are followed, respected and abided by.
Business Development
  • Assist the Senior Director and Leadership team to develop a strategic growth plan for Corporate Clients, including exploration of new markets where C&W does not currently provide services.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of FM Proposals, including conducting Business Tender Reviews before proposal submission with C&W Services value proposition
  • Interface and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the development of cross departmental work.
Team Management
  • Develop the existing team to ensure necessary training is provided for their existing role and their career growth plans.
  • Recruit, manage and develop staff to meet departmental business needs.
  • Ensure high performance standards among staff members to position the organization effectively in addressing business challenges.
Financial
  • Manage, develop and increase financial gains through existing and new business.
  • Identify cost-saving initiatives, implementing efficient resource allocation strategies, and exploring ways to increase revenue streams
  • Collaborate with the team to identify areas for operational improvement and takes appropriate actions to drive financial performance.
  • The position holder will carefully manage all financial matters, by keeping a key focus on profit and loss, including but not limited to annual budget planning, monthly billing, collections (inc aged debt), and clear reporting.
You are:
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building/ Facilities/ Real Estate management or equivalent
  • At least 15 years of experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team in the maintenance, commercial & estate management, and management of large corporate/commercial offices, and/or industrial portfolio
  • Possess Facility and Property Management experiences with strong M&E exposures in MNCs, industrial facilities would be advantageous
  • Possess strong leadership and demonstrated the drive to deal with all difficult tasks imposed by the client
  • This role requires a high degree of initiative, tact, strategic thinking, relationship building, and leadership capabilities
  • Experience in managing profit and loss, and cost savings initiatives
