We catalyse the ideas today, into assets tomorrow. The Finance Department ensures IPOS' financial resources are efficiently managed through proper allocation of resources and funds management. The Department is looking for new team members to execute activities for budget planning and administration to support the business operations and strategic outcomes of the organisation. Responsibilities Reporting to the Director, Finance, you will: 1 Manage the budgeting process with the implementation of the new financial system, ensuring optimal use and allocation of resources to achieve strategic outcomes 2 Plan and manage the annual budget exercise, provide guidance in planning assumptions and timelines 3 Consolidate and analyse budget returns for reasonableness using appropriate financial indicators and benchmarks. Prepare the budget presentation and make suitable recommendations on budget implications for Board’s approval. 4 Review and provide analysis for actual budget utilisation, recommend appropriate actions to Management to yield improvements in budget performance 5 Improve budget marksmanship practices by equipping departments with readily accessible dashboards and transaction details for pro-active budget management including effective re-allocation of resources 6 Provide business partnering to departments and offer sound advice on financial planning and analysis. 7 Review and update policies and procedures as required 8 Take on other ad-hoc finance duties as assigned Are you the one?
