Policy Leadership and Governance
Direct the creation and implementation of operational policies, ensuring the programme\'s alignment with industry standards and grantor guidelines.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead, motivate, and develop the incubation team to achieve excellence in their roles.
Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-driven performance.
Programme Development and Management
Design and implement strategies for the incubation program to support startups in various stages of development.
Actively source and recruit promising startups from the SMU and external community.
Oversee the selection process of startups, ensuring a diverse and high-potential cohort.
Develop and manage program timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Mentors Engagement Programme
Lead, nurture and sustain an effective mentor engagement programme, ensuring a continuous pool of pro-bono industry expertise, creating impact for startup growth and success.
Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Building
Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to investors, sponsors, corporate partners, spearheading collaborative initiatives and identifying strategic opportunities for the incubator and SMU.
Curriculum Development for BIG
Develop BIG\xe2\x80\x99s masterclass curriculum and pedagogy to ensure it remains frontier and effective in empowering founders.
Marketing and Brand Strategy Development
Represent SMU and BIG actively in the local and international community.
Oversee the development of marketing strategies to elevate BIG incubation programme\xe2\x80\x99s profile and awareness within SMU, locally and regionally.
Financial Oversight and Fundraising
Oversee the budget and financial management of the programme.
Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants, donations and sponsorships.
Programme Impact and Evaluation
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the program and its impact on the startup ecosystem.
Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the program.
Own overall responsibility of the successful execution of programme.
Qualifications:
Degree from a university, in any discipline.
5 to 8 years of experience in fast paced working environments, preferably within technology, startups, entrepreneurship and venture capital.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Effective communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Detail-oriented and team-oriented with a strong desire to be successful.
Comfortable with minimal amount of direction, thrive in high pressure and high expectation situations.
A keen sense of ownership and accountability and act with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
Humble, authentic, value hard work, creative problem solver and outcome driven.
Up-to-date with industry trends in the innovation and entrepreneurship eco-system.
Deep knowledge and network in the SE Asia innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem is a plus.
