. ROLE
The Architect is responsible for the technical solution design, and execution assessment of programs / projects and technology platform.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for end-to-end delivery and continuous integration of solutions.
• Provides architecture leadership to the engineering teams, including developers, QA, infrastructure / cloud.
• Applies broad technical, industry, and enterprise knowledge to architect solutions for strategic initiatives and continuous improvement for product support in a fast-paced business.
• Participate in 3rd-party solution assessments and reviews, and technical proof of concepts as necessary.
• Participate in the definition and enforcement of architecture practices and governance, technology standards, and manage technical debts.
• Leads resiliency reviews, and technical optimization to ensure that all solutions deployed exhibit high levels of security, performance, scalability and increase business values. Ensure that the firm\xe2\x80\x99s environment and applications are well-architected.
• Jointly owns the applications portfolio with the engineering teams, and drives efficiency through simplification, reuse and modernization.
• Develop strong partnership with key decision makers and citizen developers to drive long-term cloud adoption and enable them to be cloud advocates.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Recognized degree in Computer Science or related Engineering fields.
• At least 8 years of demonstrated end-to-end / scalable solution architecture and development experience with Microsoft Azure, large-scale cloud architectures, migration of on-prem workload to commercial cloud, and application modernization; candidates with proven experience in Azure services (particularly data) is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in designing and implementing commercial cloud(s) solutions (including use of devops practices, containerization / k8s, API, microservices, log management), integrating SaaS solutions, security frameworks (e.g. OIDC, encryption), SDLC (both agile and iterative waterfall), use of development support tools (e.g. JIRA, GitHub) and infrastructure operations.
• Good understanding of asset and/or wealth management businesses, including trade lifecycle and operational processes.
• Good understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to meet our business needs.
• Certifications are encouraged and demonstrate continuous learning of technologies essential for this role e.g. TOGAF, Azure (e.g. data & analytics, infrastructure & security) certifications.
