Job Description


:

  • Assist in overall formulation and implementation of the School\xe2\x80\x99s strategic initiatives.
  • Support development of marketing, liaison and outreach to expand annual student recruitment programme and meet enrolment targets with enhanced quality for Undergraduate and Graduate programmes.
  • Monitor all financial cost centres and expenditures of budgeted funds for School and for external grants.
  • Determine fiscal requirements, make projections/forecast, and prepare/update budgets as necessary.
  • Compile financial reports on forecasts and utilization of funding.
  • Oversee disbursements of student scholarships and bursaries.
  • Map accounting internal orders and provide financial reports as needed.
  • Oversee payments and reimbursements for faculty, visiting professors and other academic visitors.
  • Participate and represent School in consultation with OFIN and other central departments in Monitor and Regulatory Audits.
  • Handle all issues related to compliance and governances to ensure that School has internal controls.
  • Participate in the writing and compilation of all project-related documents, including but not limited to budgets, proposals, reports and presentations.
  • Supervise Manager and other staff to handle faculty and research administrative matters.
  • Attend, represent and provide updates on various internal and external meetings as requested.
  • Serve as backup for Assistant Dean during her absence.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Mature and professional presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage work processes and achieve continuous quality improvement.
  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve in a responsible manner;
  • Track project milestones and deliverables;
  • Analyze data, quantify results and manage budget/P&L.
  • Discreet in handling confidential information/issues.
  • Strong time management and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated and independent; a team player who can communicate effectively and work with others.
  • Experience in supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • College degree in business, finance, accountig (or other business disciplines) required with a minimum of 12 years\xe2\x80\x99 work experience with relevancy in IHL/education preferred.
  • Expertise in financial accounting and budgeting software (SAP); CPA certification and professional accounting certifications preferred.
