What the role is:The Resilience and Engagement Division (RED) helps build a strong society by strengthening social capital, and inspiring and empowering individuals to contribute to the common good. We do this through three pillars of work: fostering a strong and inclusive sense of national identity; nurturing an active citizenry, and developing the public service\'s capabilities to engage and partner citizens.What you will be working on:You will be part of the SG Cares Office\'s Strategic Development team that develops and drives partnerships to promote and strengthen volunteerism and philanthropy in Singapore. Specifically, our team grows locale-based level volunteerism by working with our SG Cares Volunteer Centres (VCs) in each town to build strong and vibrant SG Cares Community Networks. These Community Networks comprise local offices of government agencies, grassroots organisations, social service agencies, corporates, schools, religious organisations and other local community stakeholders within each town in Singapore. We also identify and work with partners to strengthen skills-based volunteerism and to drive volunteerism and philanthropy amongst target segments such as corporates, seniors and youths. Your responsibilities include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Leading a team to build a strong and stable SG Cares Volunteer Centre eco-system and support the VCs\' work in nurturing and growing the SG Cares Community Networks \xe2\x80\xa2 Identifying opportunity areas to strengthen volunteering and sense of care at the town level, by synthesising trend data, local data and stakeholder feedback \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing medium to long-term strategies and plans to grow locale-based volunteerism and working with key internal and external stakeholders to develop and pilot programmes and initiatives that can be replicated across different towns \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluating impact of key projects against desired policy outcomesWhat we are looking for:
