If you share our vision and possess the qualities we seek, do join us!What you will be working on:You will be part of a team of officers that work on aviation policies to strengthen Singapore\'s competitiveness as an air hub. As part of the team, you will be responsible for developing strategies to support Singapore\'s air connectivity with other regions and countries, taking into account the broader needs of the Changi air hub. You will also review policies for Changi Airport, including but not limited to the design and financing of Terminal 5/ the Changi East development, Changi Airport\'s largest expansion project to date. You will also have the opportunity to work on policies that will support the aviation sector in meeting its near-term and long-term manpower needs and sustainability goals. In the course of your work, you will formulate, evaluate, implement and communicate policies, which will include the collection and analysis of data, as well as be involved in the project management of Terminal 5/ the Changi East development. You will also have the opportunity to represent Singapore at bilateral and multilateral meetings. You will work closely with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and other Government agencies, as well as key industry stakeholders such as Changi Airport Group, airlines, and aircraft parts manufacturers.What we are looking for:a. Comfortable with ambiguity, with a bias towards action.About Ministry of Transport:The Mission of Ministry of Transport is to develop Singapore\'s land, sea and air transport sectors so as to enhance our economic competitiveness and quality of life in a knowledge-based economy. MOT oversees the development and regulation of the following sectors: \xe2\x80\xa2 Civil Aviation and Air Transport \xe2\x80\xa2 Maritime and Ports \xe2\x80\xa2 Land Transport Besides providing an efficient and cost-effective transportation in Singapore, it also strives to make Singapore an international civil aviation and maritime centre for the region. The ministry sets the strategic and policy direction while operations and regulatory works are carried out by the statutory boards under its charge. There are four statutory boards which are established by Acts of Parliament: the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the Public Transport Council (PTC). The ministry also oversees the operation of the Transport Safety Investigation Bureau (TSIB).
