Job Description

What the role is:We are looking for a well-rounded, highly motivated and creative digital native to join our Digital and Visual Comms (DVC) team. You will be involved in managing and creating content for MSE\'s social media platforms and websites. You should also be very familiar with social media trends and be able to translate complex messages into engaging and easy-to-understand content pieces that would resonate with our target audience. You will be part of the Communications and 3P Partnership Division (C3PD), which is responsible for the formulation and implementation of communications strategies, the management of MSE\'s digital channels and the engagement of stakeholders to foster shared partnerships of our environment and water and food resources.What you will be working on:Your key responsibilities may include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Building and expanding MSE\'s social media presence on channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube \xe2\x80\xa2 Conceptualising and creating content for MSE\'s digital and social media platforms. This includes content curation, copywriting, copyediting, photography, video filming and editing, graphic design, etc \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing MSE\'s digital and social media platforms e.g., scheduling posts, monitoring and responding to comments and messages, media buys \xe2\x80\xa2 Analysing data (e.g., performance of social media posts, media buys, etc) and transforming them into actionable insights \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitoring and identifying current and potential new social media trends, as well as up-and-coming platforms we can tap on \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing projects with internal stakeholders as well as external vendors \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing budgets and procurement contracts (e.g., seeking budget approvals, putting up assessment and recommendations etc) \xe2\x80\xa2 Drafting speeches, media releases and other communications materials \xe2\x80\xa2 Providing relevant support to political office holders.What we are looking for:

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as mass communications, marketing, advertising, media studies, social sciences or public relations \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 1 year of relevant experience in content development, social media management, digital ad-buying platforms (eg, Meta Ads Manager), digital analytics (eg, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, YouTube Studio), marketing, corporate communications, etc \xe2\x80\xa2 Design, photography and videography skills will be an advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal and analytical skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong project management and problem-solving skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Resourceful, adaptable, driven and a strong team player
