Job Description

Looking for someone who is:

• Passionate with working with children with special needs
• Experience in Early Intervention, Early Childhood Education and/or Special Needs Education
• Creative, loving and energetic
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Willing to learn and improve knowledge and skills
• Uses positive discipline techniques at all times
• Maintains and build relationships with children, parents and the team

• To assist in preparing and implementing the programs for children.
• To assist in managing behavior of children using appropriate behavioural strategies taught and agreed by the clinic.
• To assist in supporting the children during routine activities including mealtime, circle time, work and play times.
• To assist in toileting needs of the children and maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and infection control.
• To assist in administrative tasks such as typing out summaries and reports (e.g. IEP, Progress Report).
• To assist in providing input on children’s progress during case conferences or at any other case discussion.
• To assist in planning, share ideas and exchange feedback with the team.
• To assist in preparing teaching aids, materials and resources.
• To assist in evaluating and maintaining records of children’s development as required in the program.
• To assist in rendering basic first aid as and when necessary.
• To assist in the upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom.
