What the role is:PUB oversees several R&D facilities for testing innovative technologies. This includes the Desalination Integrated Validation Plant (D-IVP), managed in collaboration with START-NTU, where various innovative technologies can be tested at a substantial facility before implementation. Additionally, PUB manages a dedicated R&D facility (PRO Facility) for testing innovative technologies related to energy harvesting from brine.What you will be working on:Main Responsibilities: Support the PUB Potable Water Treatment Specialist Team in the following areas: a) Provide on-site supervision of contractors at D-IVP and PRO Facility when required. b) Maintain daily communication and coordination with START-NTU and their contractors for site works. This includes conducting routine checks on START\'s permit-to-work documents, maintenance records, and providing feedback. c) Process procurement documents in related to PUB contracts at D-IVP and PRO Facility. d) Track and record water and electricity meters within D-IVP and at the seawater intake (Pasir Ris beach). e) Communicate and share reports with MPA on quarterly beacon maintenance. f) Engage in communication with external stakeholders (NParks, URA, NEA, SLA, LTA) to obtain clearances for the annual seawater intake TOL extension.What we are looking for:- Diploma in Engineering - Self-motivated, driven and resourceful - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Works well independently and also a good team player Successful applicants will be contacted within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job postingAbout PUB, The National Water Agency:PUB is an organisation that is recognised internationally for good water management.
