Job Description

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Assistant Engineer (Automation):

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in the design, setup, integration, and testing of automation systems. Design, program, and debug robotic systems for machine development and integration. Develop, integrate, and test vision inspection systems. Program and test PLC and HMI systems. Support new machine installation, commissioning, and validation. Troubleshoot automation equipment and perform preventive maintenance. Conduct root cause analysis for machine failures and implement corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with suppliers to support machine improvements and debugging. Provide technical support to production and inspection teams.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in automation. Strong knowledge in automation system troubleshooting and repair. Experience with machine installation, electrical wiring, and assembly. Familiarity with PLC programming (e.g., Keyence, Omron, Mitsubishi). Basic knowledge of SolidWorks and vision inspection systems will be an advantage. Hands-on, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team environment. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Up to SGD 3,700 + AWS + VB
