About the role
1. Monitor and analyze process performance eg. IPQC, first pass yield, parametric data for at typical trends. Monitor critical input factors and control parameters to ensure process integrity is in place for production. Feedback to engineers about possible product and process improvement opportunities. Assist engineer in sustaining key performance indices to meet department goals. 2. Assist engineers in the conduct of Engineering build involving: i) New material/component qualification. ii) Material improvement. iii) RDD Control Build. iv) New process step/machine hardware upgrade qualification. v) New product introduction (NPI) inclusive of new variant. Key tasks involve: a) Coordinate with Production and Line Maintenance on material preparation, line setup, build execution and lot movement. b) Conducts builds/experiments according to specified plan/procedures. c) Record data and test results with accuracy according to specified format and document and report all observations. d) Perform close monitoring for any abnormalities or deviations during the course of the build, exercising independent judgement and discretion on the course of build as appropriate and escalate to engineer\'s attention when required. e) Analyze data and prepare summary of results/report for standard engineering builds. f) Coordinate with QA for the engineering build sample measurement g) Perform PA process in PLM h) Engage with QA for improvement and corrective actions i) Provide training and guidance to junior technicians in execution of control builds. 3. Independently undertake simple internal continuous improvement tasks. Collaborate with engineers in cross functional continuous improvement projects in support of operational KPI (eg. yield, scrap, OEE) goals. Provide ideas for operation robustness and enhancement opportunities.
About you
Higher NITEC in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering with at least 5 years experiences in highly automated manufacturing environment
Diploma in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering with at least 3 years experiences in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in automated equipment troubleshooting techniques and preventive maintenance methodology
Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical & pneumatic systems
Experience with servo motors, pneumatics, Robot, PLC, HMI software will be an advantage.
Ability to read and understand mechanical & electrical schematics diagram
Self-motivated , hands on and good team player
