Assistant Engineer / Technical Support Engineer

Job Description

You will play a key role in supporting our commercial, production, and R&D teams, ensuring high-quality technical solutions, product testing, and laboratory support in line with

ISO 17025

standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to commercial teams through

data analysis, competitor product comparison, and troubleshooting

for both pre-sales and after-sales activities. Collaborate with global teams to

standardize testing methods

, conduct evaluations, and perform benchmarking tests. Conduct

failure analysis

benchmark testing

, and

material testing

(destructive and non-destructive) to identify defects. Support

production and logistics

teams in production-related and quality control tasks. Assist the

R&D team

in developing new analytical methods and testing for new product development. Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot

laboratory equipment

, and ensure proper documentation of test results and experimental data. Prepare and maintain

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

, coordinate with vendors for technical issues, and manage laboratory inventory. Participate as an

ISO 17025 committee member

to maintain Quality Management System (QMS) compliance and ensure test accuracy.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in

Polymer Science, Chemistry, or related field

2-3 years of relevant experience

preferred; fresh graduates may apply for

Assistant Engineer

role. Strong knowledge of

polymers and plastics

. Familiar with

injection molding

and analytical techniques such as

FT-IR, SEM, DSC, TGA

. Experience with

ISO 9001 / 14001 / 17025 / 50001

Quality Systems is an advantage. Proficient in

Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

- able to prepare charts, reports, and technical presentations. Knowledge of

Python

will be an advantage. Hands-on, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
