Assistant Executive (burial Operations) Short Contract

[What the role is]
We are looking for service-oriented individuals to join the Memorial Facilities and Planning Division which oversees the development, operation and maintenance of Government cemeteries, crematoria and columbaria. You will be stationed at Choa Chu Kang Cemetery and will play a key role in providing after-death care service.
[What you will be working on]
Your job responsibilities include:
Assist in traditional soil burial or the Crypt Burial System burials:
1) Soil Burial
Manual digging of burial plot when necessary
Prepare grave plot for burial
Backfill burial plot after burial
2) Crypt Burial System Burial
Assist in opening of burial crypt covers
Signal and direct the lifting machine operator during the lifting operation
Prepare grave plot for burial
Backfill burial plot after burial
[What we are looking for]
Job Requirements:
Able to handle digging tools
Able to speak and understand simple English
Willing to work in after-death care service environment
Able and willing to work on weekends and public holidays
Able to work independently as well as in teams
