Job Description
Overall Job Purpose:
Responsible for SDC POS and Cashier Office operation ensuring revenue are correctly
accounted for.
Key Responsibilities
- Configuration of ledger and perform testing for new product types in ticketing system
- Ensure all journal entries from SNAPP are accurate and complete before interface into
- Ensure timely month end close
- Ensure timely update of SOP
- Preparing monthly settlement reports
- Support Cashier office when necessary
- Ensure that Financial Instructions Manual, Accounting Standards, Financial policies and
financial matters are adhered to
- Engage with internal stakeholders (business units) in all POS matters
- Work closely with all parties, including auditors
- Diploma in Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- At least 3-4 years of relevant experience of finance or accounting experience
- Analytical and meticulous with an eye for details
- Good problem solving skills
- Sense of initiative and responsibility with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Able to work in dynamic environment
- Well versed in accounting standards and internal controls
- Well versed in using various computerized accounting systems and familiar with ERP
- Proficient with MS Office especially Excel
