What the role is:Senior Executive, Finance (2-year Contract)What you will be working on:JOB RESPONSIBILTIES \xe2\x80\xa2 Support student finance operations in billing, receipting and disbursement related processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Support month-end account closing in a timely manner \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise and work closely with internal and external parties on financial operations including: o Accounting of receipts from funding agencies o System support on finance system and perform user testing o Auditors on finance related matters \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor outstanding items/issues pending resolutions \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure compliance to policies and procedures for finance operations \xe2\x80\xa2 Review existing procedures and recommend updates when appropriate \xe2\x80\xa2 Any other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by supervisorWhat we are looking for:JOB REQUIREMENTS \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 3 years of experience in supporting accounting services \xe2\x80\xa2 Qualifications in Accounting \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in MS Office Applications \xe2\x80\xa2 Good analytical, communication, interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 High adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to contribute effectively in a team and work independently \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactive and able to work effectively under pressure and during peak period \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlinesAbout Temasek Polytechnic:Established in 1990, Temasek Polytechnic (TP) is a leading institution of high learning nestled by the idyllic shores of Bedok Reservoir in Tampines.
