Job Description

The incumbent needs to be an organised yet flexible person. He/she will assist in recruiting and training of volunteers, working closely with programme leads to assess needs and match volunteer profiles. He/she will be required to execute and oversee volunteer engagement activities as well as volunteer appreciation initiatives. He/she will assist in engaging community stakeholders to foster meaningful volunteer partnerships.

• Respond to enquiries and requests received for volunteering opportunities.
• Assist in Planning, and scheduling volunteer orientations and training programmes.
• Assist in carrying out volunteer satisfaction surveys.
• Maintain up-to-date volunteer database and record-keeping system.
• Ensure the compliance of volunteer management policies, and practices.
• Maintain regular communication between stakeholders.
• Ensure smooth operational flow of volunteer engagement activities.
• To carry out any ad-hoc duties and responsibilities when assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma in social science, mass communications, or events management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and administration skills.
• Have prior experience in managing interest groups, or experience in leading CCA groups
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Resourceful and adaptable with attention to details.
• Passion to serve in a Senior/Gerontological setting.
• Flexible working hours (e.g 9 \xe2\x80\x93 5pm), required to commit 3-4 days a week.
