Job Description

We are seeking for a seasoned finance professional to lead our revenue assurance team in Finance. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of billing processes in M1. You will lead a dedicated team, responsible for developing and implementing effective billing strategies, optimizing revenue collection, and resolving complex billing issues. Your strategic insights and leadership will contribute to the overall financial success of M1, as you navigate the evolving landscape of telecommunications billing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the revenue assurance within the finance team.
• Develop and implement billing strategies to optimize revenue collection and ensure accuracy in invoicing processes.
• Lead, manage and coach a team responsible for generating and delivering timely and accurate customer invoices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of billing processes with other departments.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with billing standards and practices.
• Analyze billing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency enhancements.
• Handle complex billing issues and escalations, providing resolutions in a timely manner.
• Prepare and present periodic reports on billing performance and financial metrics to senior management.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements in billing systems and recommend upgrades or enhancements to maintain competitiveness.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with proven experience in a leadership role within billing or finance in the telecommunications industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of billing systems, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve departmental goals.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements related to telecommunications billing.
• Proficient in using billing software and financial management tools.
• Strategic thinking and ability to contribute to the overall financial goals of the company.
• Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
