Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all offices, concourses, seating areas, washrooms and all public areas.
• Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.
• Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing all new housekeeping staff members as well as checking quality of work performed and make appropriate corrections and changes as necessary
• Handle guest complaints concerning housekeeping service or refers problems to management for adjustment
• Conduct pre-event inspections of all guest rooms, lobby, seating areas and public areas prior guests arrival.
• Keep staff notified for any upcoming events to ensure events run smoothly
• Maintain the housekeeping budget, providing billing summaries and expenses.
• Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within Housekeeping department.
• Provide safe chemical handling as prescribed
• Handle lost and found procedure
• Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment.
• All other duties as assigned by the management
