Assistant IT Support Engineer (Part-Time)
Work Location: Tuas South, Singapore
Job Type: 3 Years Contract, subject to renewal
About the Role:
This role provides first-line technical support for end-users, manage IT equipment, and ensure smooth operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced in laptop setup, software installation, network configuration, and helpdesk support. Familiarity with
Microsoft 365 (M365)
and
SAP
is required.
Work Schedule:
2 days per week (Where Monday is fixed; second day will be assigned based on company requirements)
Primary Responsibilities:
1) IT Support & Helpdesk:
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Respond to helpdesk tickets and resolve end-user requests efficiently, escalating complex issues as needed.
Support video and remote conferencing setups, and provide on-site support for important meetings.
2) IT Equipment & Software Management:
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Maintain accurate IT equipment inventory and ledger.
Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, office software, antivirus, and other commonly used applications.
3) Data Backup & Recovery:
Perform regular data backup and recovery for laptops, desktops, and critical systems.
4) Network & Infrastructure Maintenance:
Install, configure, and commission mainstream brand network devices.
Troubleshoot network issues and ensure smooth operations, including during critical periods.
Conduct daily inspections of IT infrastructure, computer rooms, and conference room equipment.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
Strong knowledge of laptops, desktops, printers, network devices, and software systems.
Experience with Microsoft 365 (M365) and SAP.
Good customer communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong work planning and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate in Chinese is a plus.
Proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Flexible and adaptable to handle urgent IT issues.
