With increasing demand and new product introductions, they are currently looking for an Assistant Logistics Manager to assist them and contribute in this area. Reporting to the Head of Logistics, your main responsibilities include leading and coordinating supply chain and distribution projects, driving operational efficiency by performing data analysis to provide recommendations. Additionally, you are also responsible to manage the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure daily operation processes to comply with the organisation's policies. You are expected to have great communication skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders. This role is a People Management role and will be based in the West side of Singapore. Additional responsibilities will include: Besides day-to-day operations within the organisation's DC, the responsibilities are also not limited to process improvement, data analytic, project management and change management. Stategic project management through management and implementation for supply chain functions, focusing on automation, e-commerce and omni-channels. Provide insights and recommendation on process improvement through data analysis, KPIs and management reports. Maintenance of Standard Operation Policies and guidelines along with company policy's to ensure Distribution Center security and safety standards. Management of WMS, supporting system enhancement and ensure all transactions record are well-maintained in the system to fulfil audit requirements. Be part of the re-engineering initiatives and layout design of Distribution Center. Maintain good working relationship and communication with stakeholders across supply chain functions such as order management, logistics and distribution, retail and order management to meet business needs. People resource management in order to manage high voluminous orders for inbound products and support business needs. The Successful Applicant You must have a Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain and a minimum of 8 years experience with exposure in driving continuous improvement within DC/Warehouse Operations. You must possess strong analytic skills to be able to analyse multiple sources of data and perform root cause analysis. Additionally, you must have problem-solving and organization skills to facilitate resolution of problems with relevant stakeholders, and to be able to manage multiple accountabilities concurrently.
