Job Description
- Position: Assistant Maintenance Engineer
- Location: Tuas
- Working hours: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday (8:30am \xe2\x80\x93 6:00pm)
- Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,500 + AWS)
- Permanent position
- Industry: Manufacturing
- Assist with system assembly and set-ups
- Carry out minor repairs on facilities and manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Perform machine maintenance and evaluation.
- Troubleshooting and modification of machine / equipment.
- Conduct training for production operators on machine / equipment operations / maintenance.
- Generate reports and work instructions.
- Prepare mechanical drawing for machine / equipment improvement.
- Proficient in interpreting and creating P&ID drawings and electrical single line drawings for engineering projects.
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant working experience
- Familiarity with AutoCad or other engineering design software\xe2\x80\x99s
- Ability to communicate with equipment suppliers based in China and translate relevant information into English.
