This position is for Office of Campus Infrastructure and Services (OCIS).
Manage day-to-day operational matters of Facilities Management and Servies works.
Act as Building Manager and liaison with FMS Trade Specialists to ensure understanding of operational procedures, to provide optimal functioning of the systems under his/her care.
Work with respective FMS Trade Specialist to formulate operational and maintenance requirementsfor the range of building services/systems contracts for newly replaced or commissioned systems.
Manage and operate the building to its most efficient and optimum conditions.
Co-ordinate between management and project staff on the taking over and commissioning acceptanceof building/M&E/Fire & Security systems enhancement works.
Work with FMS project team to operationalize the maintenance of new or replaced systems.
Drive innovation, efficiency, sustainability and productivity efforts as well as technology adoption toenhance facilities operations and service delivery.
Be the participating member of any Smart and Digital Transformation projects undertaken by FMS.
Prepare tender documents and technical specifications for various facilities, building and engineeringservices.
Perform any other additional or ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Relevant Diploma/degree in Engineering/Facilities Management/Electrical Engineering/MechanicalEngineering/Building Services or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in managing Facilities and Building services and systems and strong withhands-on.
Familiar with Singapore Codes and Practices, contract administration and procurement procedures.
Proficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD and able to read engineering and technicaldrawings.
Able to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask.
Ability to maintain a budget on maintenance and projects.
Proven comfort and experience to interact effectively with customers and associates, both inside and outside of the organization.
Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets).
Demonstrated sound coordinating, personal interface skills and communication skills.
Good analytical and organizational skills with strong leadership skills, structured with strong workethics.
Resourceful, good team player, result driven and able to work independently in a fast-pacedenvironment.
Comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy challenges and problem solving.
Keen and natural affinity for technology and innovation.
Obvious safety mindset and displays good WSH behavior.
