Job Description

Our client, an established retail brand in the music industry, is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager. The candidate should bring on at least 3-4 years of experience in similar function.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full spectrum of accounts to ensure timely closing of companies\xe2\x80\x99 accounts
• General Ledger & Reporting:

• Check and approve journals and adjustments, leading the monthly accounts closing and prepare financial reports
• Perform analysis of financial report and ensure accuracy in report
• Checking monthly schedules and maintain chart of accounts and project code
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation
• Check and approve GST submission and withholding tax submission
• Accounts Receivable:

• Review and approve debtor journal, e-invoice, debit and credit notes
• Verification of credit limit control list
• Verify and process credit card refunds
• Responsible for monitoring of AR aging reports
• Chair monthly debtor meetings with business units
• Accounts Payable:

• Review and approve payments (Giro/TT)
• Ensure payment status is accurately updated in the system
• Review and approve commission payment and e-claims
• Responsible for monitoring of AP aging reports
• Fixed Assets:

• Accurately maintain fixed asset category in the system
• Check coding and transaction document for fixed asset addition, disposal, transfer and adjustment
• Oversea asset sighting process

Requirements:

• Candidate should possess a Diploma in Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in similar function
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required
• Proficiency in AS400 JDA system is an added advantage
