Job Description


Job Purpose

The Business Solutions Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in driving the seamless integration of technology solutions into the School\'s operations. This position is responsible for identifying opportunities, implementing policies, and ensuring the smooth adoption and integration of technology across various units and stakeholders.



1. Manage the School\'s annual Information Technology and Classroom Technology budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently, and identifying cost-effective technology solutions.
2. Conduct comprehensive market surveys and research to identify innovative solutions for upgrading end-user technology and optimizing learning technology.
3. Develop, enhance, and enforce standard operating procedures and guidelines for technology deployment and management processes to promote operational efficiency and consistency.
4. Administer day-to-day operations, overseeing asset management, software license management, and equipment administration.
5. Procure computing devices, accessories, software, audio-visual equipment, associated accessories, and services necessary for business operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, functionality requirements, and value for money.
6. Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of computing devices, accessories, and software licenses. Anticipate demand, coordinate with vendors for timely replenishment, and ensure accuracy of the asset list in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
7. Establish and maintain an effective business continuity plan, conduct regular assessments, and implement measures to ensure seamless operations during disruptions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business solutioning, including budgeting and procurement.
  • Advantageous to have at least 2 years of experience in a business analyst role, demonstrating a strong understanding of business processes and requirements analysis.
  • Proven experience in technology integration, project management, or a related role, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Multidisciplinary skills, with the ability to understand and work with various technology solutions, adapt to evolving trends, and bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and industry best practices in educational technology.
