Assistant Manager, Category Management \xe2\x80\x93 Sephora SG

An exciting opportunity for an expert in business development and brand management to continue to drive the Sephora Omni-channel business to greater heights. You are challenged to stay ahead of competition, bring greater profitability and create a great shopping experience through collaboration with brands. You will be in a key position to be part of a dynamic team to pilot best practices with brands, drive category strategies and initiatives to build Sephora as the most loved beauty community in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

Manage a brand portfolio of axis (fragrance, skincare, make up, hair care, accessories) in areas including product and brand mix, price positioning, type of fixture and display in stores and assortment planning.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Track sales, gross margin, samples, Brand Conversion, stock (vs KPIs and Targets)

Report weekly and monthly category performance

Identify Key Trends and propose action plans

Propose ad-hoc strategies to meet targets when required

Monthly review with regional teams

Brand management: Brands managed locally

Trading terms negotiation and business review

Develop the annual brand plan including product launch calendar and sales targets

Maintain and update brand contracts

Identify gaps and opportunities to improve performance

Brand/Product Launches

Guide and on-board new brands

Manage new sell-in process: data validation & submission

Ensure sales forecast and ambition is aligned with brand

Liaise & co-operate with all departments to ensure strong launch plans & execution omni-channel

Complete launch information and calendar shared with internal stakeholders

Tracking of launch performance

Animation Planning

Plan and secure key animation slots for brands

Thematic animation: product assortment, target and stocks ordering

Establish objectives with internal and external partners

Negotiate for in-store mechanics/promotions/samples or activities to drive sales

Tracking of animation performance and learnings

Assortment Management

Review and measure brands performance against productivity benchmark

Ensure a relevant and productive assortment for each brand

Conduct half-yearly rationalization of brands and assortment

Review assortment gaps and opportunities for omni-channel based off sales ambition and category strategies

Strive to work towards a planogram that is efficient and productive

Floorplan management, store opening and renovation

Work with space planner and visual merchandising team to drive category zoning and enhance shopping experience in-stores

Propose to Regional Team first cut of new store floorplans for validation

Work with brands on fixtures, stocks and merchandising for new store opening and store renovation

Stock Management

Work with supply chain to meet the company\xe2\x80\x99s stockholding KPI

Review SOH with supply chain and propose action plans for SKUs with high stock holding and discontinued SKUs

Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure deliveries meet launch dates and campaigns

Key Requirements:

Commercial and Account/ Brand Management Experience

Strong in implementing strategies that drive results

Led past projects with proven track results

Results-oriented

Strong inter-personal communication skills with the ability to influence

Able to manage complex situations , tight timelines and multiple stakeholders

5 years in Account / Brand Management role

Analytical and Data Savvy

Able to formulate strategies with data and insights provided

Give valuable feedback and suggested action plans based off data and analysis

Passion for Beauty, Fashion and Trends

Having a keen interest in the beauty industry with a flair for trends and style

Driven, Independent and Excited to make an impact
