Assistant Manager (Credit Control)

Salary: Up to $5300 + VB (Up to 3mths) + Flexi $1000 per year


Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm

Job Scope:

Oversee and assist team in preparation and issuance of reminder notices, statements, and dunning letters. Proactively monitor and analyse customer accounts to identify potential default risks, minimize bad debts and recommend appropriate action plans. Ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and proper credit risk management. Perform follow-up calls and maintain close communication with overdue accounts to resolve disputes and secure payments. Liaising with lawyer to follow up on the legal action taken against the bad paymasters. Compile and present periodic ageing reports, collection forecasts and credit risk analyses highlighting the status of receivables and overdue accounts. Support system/process improvements and participate in audits or internal control reviews. Any other additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant credit control work experience, including supervisory experience. Strong understanding of credit risk management principles and collection strategies. Experience in hire purchase, leasing, or financing environments will be an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and office applications Detailed, Proactive, Strong Analytical and Communications skills. Results-driven personality Good command of both English and Mandarin to liaise effectively with Chinese-speaking clients.
