Lead and manage the E-Learning team to support the E-Learning activities within the institute.
Plan and conduct strategic activities for the professional development of faculty members in the use of the learning systems and applications to enhance teaching.
Play a lead role in working with the internal learning designers and external content providers on the design and development of e-learning / Blended Learning materials for teaching.
Responsible for evaluation, pilot test, and implementation of suitable emerging technologies to support teaching and learning within the Institute.
Supervise every stage of the e-Learning / Blended Learning project and coordinate in-house reviews and meetings.
Lead the e-Learning / Blended Learning project\'s implementation and internal marketing.
Develop and successfully implement e-Learning strategies to achieve the proposed e-Learning goals.
Develop new initiatives and suggest ways to enhance the Institute\'s e-Learning offerings - work with the product teams to seek ways of introducing online programmes / short courses.
Lead all e-Learning or educational technology projects within the Institute that will drive proficiency with the use of available technology and tools.
Provide management with information on the quality of the Vendor\'s product and services, as well as the development of the project at each stage.
Recommend and help implement ways to enhance student student\'s learning experience with the Institute\'s Blackboard Learning System and video streaming technology.
Administer and manage the operational effectiveness of the Learning Management System (Blackboard Learn) and the video streaming systems in adherence to the Institution\'s academic requirements, business rules, and processes.
Manage and support all the ELD-related equipment.
Conduct regular workshops and hands-on training on Educational Technology for Faculty and Staff.
Support Application Project Management.
Ensure Application and e-Learning Platform is integrated with the existing platform.
Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in Instructional / Learning Design, Educational Technology, or relevant field.
Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience in managing a Learning Management System in an educational institution.
Demonstrate experience in project management in the context of technology-enhanced learning.
Strong knowledge of Pedagogical application of digital technologies and how these can be best utilized in the context of teaching and learning.
Good understanding of managing IT infrastructure (e.g. Servers, PCs).
Familiar with the instructional design used in e-Learning / Blended Learning Systems.
Extensive experience using and operating Learning Management Systems and related educational technology tools such as Blackboard, WebCT, Moodle, and Canvas.
Familiar with School or educational institution\'s functions and operations.
