DESIGNATION : Assistant Manager, Facilities Operations (Thomson Plaza)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

You will be part of the mall operations team which responsible for managing the daily operations, maintenance and upkeep of the mall facilities, through regular building and M&E inspections, compliance to authorities\xe2\x80\x99 requirements and management of service contractors to effectively achieve the highest standard. You will also be responsible for planning and implementing preventive maintenance programme for the mall, service/maintenance term contracts administration and management, as well as implementation of Asset Enhancement Initiative (AEI) projects. You will also manage mall operation expenditures, tender specification and process, tenancy fitting-out and reinstatement works. You will ensure that all operational issues and emergencies are attended promptly and rectified with minimal inconvenience and disruption. Some of the responsibilities are as follows:-

  • Develop and implement preventive/corrective maintenance programs for M&E installations
  • Manage a team of in-house maintenance technician, requisite M&E equipment/parts and attend to complaints relating to M&E services.
  • Develop and implement fire emergency plan, fire safety audit, maintenance plan for security surveillance systems and carpark facilities to achieve highest standard of safety and security
  • Requisite safety and security equipment and parts as well as follow up and investigate incidents or complaints relating to fire safety and security in the shopping mall
  • Follow through the tender, evaluation and recommendation of service or term contracts, as well as its administration and management
  • Conduct general inspection to identify services for rectification and oversee contractors\xe2\x80\x99 performance in accordance with contractual work scope and timeline of completion
  • Assist in implementation of Asset Enhancement Initiative (AEI) projects, whenever required
  • Prepare yearly and ad-hoc budget and forecast for property management in the mall



QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate is passionate about facilities management and is able to interact with various stakeholders from all levels. A team player who is proactive, result oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills, able to work independently and perform under pressure and tight deadlines. The candidate possesses at least a Diploma in Real Estate/Building/Facilities Management, Engineering or related disciplines. He or she would have at least five years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in similar capacity with working knowledge in shopping mall\xe2\x80\x99s M&E maintenance, fire safety and security system, local codes and regulations.
