Job Description

The Fundraising and Donor Management Assistant Manager manages the fundraising team and fundraising projects that contribute to the Company’s overall strategic plan. The position is responsible for increasing and diversifying the Company’s revenue – strengthening existing fundraising activities and developing and implementing fundraising work plan. In addition, this position is also required to maintain relationships with current donors and actively source for new donors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Fundraising

• Work with the Fundraising Committee to develop, manage and implement annual and multi-year fundraising plan, with customised strategies to cultivate, solicit and steward new and existing donors.
• Manage and develop the fundraiser network and recurring donor strategy, including opportunities to mobilise fundraisers for income generation.
• Lead the development of new and imaginative fundraising initiatives to meet fundraising expectations and annual targets.
• Lead the management of fundraising activities including fundraising appeals/events .
• Oversee all fundraising budgets and programmes, including KPI development, tracking, monitoring, and reporting.
• Carry out post-implementation analysis and reporting to ensure continued effectiveness and efficiency of fundraising initiatives/approach.
• Identify community partners (business and community organisations) whose criteria match the Company's aims and activities to fund projects costs.
• Communicate and promote mission, vision and programmes to external stakeholders and potential donors.
• Manage relations and maintain good rapport with relevant authorities, stakeholders and partners for sustained interest and support of the Company’s programmes and services.
• Prepare funding proposals to deliver presentations, donation appeals and appreciation letters.
• Develop, monitor, and review the achievement of key performance indicators for collaborative partnerships/projects.
• Ensure all fundraising activities are in adherence to local laws and governance, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of fundraising policies and guidelines, as well as sector standards and best practices.
• Manage and expand web-based fundraising and digital marketing to engage, rally support and access networks of influential individuals, leaders, and private social circles.
  

• Design, develop and manage an effective donor database through research, regular updates and data analysis to ensure good donor management resources.
• Develop and implement a strategy for individual and corporate donor recruitment and development.
• Engage and steward existing donors to ensure effective management of sponsorship resources employed in programmes, services, projects, including timely and accurate impact reports or updates and gift administration.
• Stewardship of key donors to deepen relations for long-term support to generate greater involvement in the Company's mission through donations and partnerships.
• Cultivate strong relationships with donors and sponsors to ensure continued support for the Company’s cause.
  

• A degree in business, public relations, marketing or related discipline.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in planning and leading non-profit fundraising.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in data analysis, digital marketing and research to support fundraising growth
• Excellent and effective communications skills (both verbal and written) and good presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in multi-stakeholder management.
• Strong in planning and execution with the ability to drive processes and delivery.
• Able to work independently and manage a team to achieve excellence and targets.
• Possess critical thinking, strategic planning and effective time management skills
• Experience in data analysis, digital marketing and research to support fundraising growth
