Manage compliance frameworks, policies and procedures, including data privacy related compliance matters
Monitor and assess business units\' compliance with various legislations including overseas markets such as Payment Services Act, Personal Data Protection Act, Privacy Act, Prevention of Corruption Act
Participate in compliance related reviews, investigations and management reporting activities
Provide inputs to Head of Compliance on all compliance & regulatory matters
Carry out awareness briefings and staff trainings on regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures
Provide guidance to team members in areas of expertise
Provide internal compliance advisory to business and management teams
Participate in projects with business and support units to provide compliance inputs to ensure regulatory requirements and compliance risks are addressed appropriately at the earliest stage
Implementation of compliance controls and associated activities
Propose effective controls to mitigate any gaps identified
What You Need To Have
Degree in relevant field
At least 3 - 5 years of regulatory compliance or related experience, especially in respect of data privacy law and regulations (e.g., PDPA, GDPR)
CCEP, CCEP-I or ICA certification will be advantageous
Strong and effective communication skill is a must
Ability to translate a wide variety of principles and, sometimes complex, legal requirements into actionable solutions for the business
Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time (including those out of one\'s comfort zone) and prioritize work while continuing to provide responsive service to internal stakeholders
Qualities
Excellent understanding of the common compliance requirements, and capable of balancing compliance risk against business interests
Cross functional stakeholder management including the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
Demonstrated capability on conveying ideas clearly and effectively
Experienced in developing training materials and conducting awareness outreach to different audiences via various platforms
Possess strong desire to keep abreast on new technologies and explore ways to adopt such technologies to achieve operational efficiency
