Job Responsibilities

As the Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager in the Group CoE supporting the Talent Management and Headship Appointment function, you are an excellent communicator and will work closely with institutions\' business partners and other CoEs to support the planning, execution and administration of the cluster TMSP and Appointments initiatives.

As the Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager, you are responsible for the following areas:

Talent Management & Succession Planning

  • Key partner and enabler to institution and functional leaders to effect scalable talent management and succession planning programmes, systems, and processes to accelerate development of key talent to support NUHS goals. Actively engage institutions to understand their needs and requirements to provide recommendations to strengthen the NUHS talent ecosystem and its components.
  • Manage and maintain the cluster level talent database. Leverage data from multiple sources to perform on-demand reporting and quality data analysis on the cluster talent pipeline in partnership with HR technology and analytics teams. Provide recommendations to improve data quality and analytics as well as end-users\' experience, i.e. Management, HRBPs, Talent management partners.
  • Point of contact for talent related policies and guidelines. Own, manage and organise the knowledge database for institution partners (hosted on Sharepoint, MS teams). Develop and provide materials and resources to support key changes / interventions to the TMSP framework.
  • Plan and manage talent engagement platforms e.g. Leadership Talent Engagement and Management Staff Engagement sessions.
  • Assist with the monitoring of senior leaders Individual Development Plans (IDPs) in accordance to development timelines.
  • Partner with the Learning, Leadership Development and Scholarship CoE to deliver and execute training curriculum & professional development programmes for the identified talent and succession candidates.
  • Administer and manage 360 platform and users.
  • Support the design and development of NUHS management associate programme.
Headship Appointments
  • Maintain and monitor key leadership appointment terms to facilitate timely decision making at institution and Group level
  • Support Group level Headship appointments / renewals including the initiation of search process, seeking approvals and drafting of announcements
Others
  • Support and manage talent management community events to build capability and share best practices across institutions
Job Requirements
  • Good degree in HR or Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 3 years in a HR role
  • Self-directed individual with good learning agility, analytical and problem solving skills. Driven towards excellence.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to contextualise ideas/processes to pictures / diagrams and experience with design tools (Canva, etc) will be an advantage
  • Good team player and engages with people comfortably
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Interest in technology; experience with HRIS systems for talent management e.g. Successfactors and/or data analytics/visualisation tools (Python, SPSS, Qualtrics, Tableau) will be an advantage
  • Knowledge in Organisation Development/Consulting or Healthcare will be added advantage
