Assistant / Manager, Human Resource (compensation & Benefits)

Job Description




You will support the business objectives through HR strategies and initiatives, provide value-adding HR services to stakeholders and ensure compliance with the employment law/regulation and policies. You will also lead in driving Compensation and Benefits initiatives/plans, as well as covering the Talent Management Review cycle.

You will be responsible to:

  • Understand and contribute to the department and corporate vision/mission as well as productivity/process improvement projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to proactively identify opportunity / issues and lead solutions in support of business goals and improving organisational performance and capability
  • Formulate Compensation and Benefits and Recognition programmes to attract, motivate and retain talent to support business strategies
  • Work with various stakeholders to plan and ensure smooth implementation of HR initiatives
  • Participate in market survey; involve in regular market study and benchmark against external market to ensure competitiveness
  • Manages all related wage, salary and benefits programmes and recommends changes in accordance with prevailing or foreseen employment conditions in Singapore
  • Conducts job analysis and job evaluation
  • Participate in the development of HR management dashboard and analytics to enable quicker and better people decision making
  • Assist in the talent review exercise and follow up with the development plans
  • Maintain the HiPos and succession plans for all job families
  • Assist in the implementation of other HR related projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Human Resource related field / Business Administration
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in the area of HR and Compensation and Benefits
  • Good knowledge of employment law and regulations and HR practices of Singapore
  • Proficient in HR Information System and Microsoft Office applications, such as PowerPoint, Excel
  • Practical knowledge of data analytics will be a plus
  • Solid sense of confidentiality and discretion
  • Energetic, positive-minded, forward-looking and resourceful individual who is meticulous and able to work in a complex environment
  • Possess strong interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong planning, organizing and implementation skills
  • Takes initiatives and possess continuous improvement and innovation mindset
