The Assistant Manager supports the mission of Red Shield Industries Group (SGRSI, MYSRSI), a social enterprise, highly regarded by public for its excellent delivery of donation in kind service which is sensitive and responsive to the community welfare needs and meeting the funding needs of The Salvation Army.
The Assistant Manager provides general support in various key HR functions covering employment, compensation & benefit performance management, training & development and employee relation and administration function
Key responsibilities:
1. Handle full spectrum of recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, training and employee development and budget management
2. Manage end-to-end responsibilities including driving HR operations, employee relations, learning & development, performance management and talent acquisition
3. Guide managers and supervisors in appropriate and fair human resource practices
4. Manage employees’ on-boarding and off-boarding processes
5. Administer payroll, leave, insurance, and all other benefits
6. Organization of workshop, events, team-bonding or/and any company related activities
7. Support day to day office management and ssist in facilities planning, maintenance, liaising with vendors,to ensure smooth running of the office.
