About the team you are joining

Reporting to the Manager, Invoicing and Collection, the incumbent is responsible for managing the current product portfolio, as well as the day-to-day invoicing operations in the assigned countries and/or regions.

What your day would be like

  • Responsible for the invoicing and collection processes, including the uploading of input files, the monitoring of automated data feed procedures, the generation of on-time invoices, the availability of output files to both internal and external customers and the maintenance of ageing and suspense activities;
  • Ensure timely maintenance of relevant databases in SAP and relating systems, work on enhancement requests, conduct UAT, and warrant successful implementation;
  • Ensure proper documentation of all products and services, as well as the invoicing procedures and internal processes across functions;
  • Working with the Manager, implement procedures to increase collection rates and to improve the product portfolio; and
  • Identify training needs relating to products and invoicing, as well as internal processes, and ensure sufficient training conducted to the Customer Service staff or other relevant supporting roles.
We would love to hear from you if
  • You have a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, IT or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the invoicing department of a large company, or in deploying invoice solutions from a consultant firm, preferably within a multi-cultural, commercial environment;
  • Experience working within the air transport or travel industries would be an advantage;
  • Ability to work as a strong team-player in a dynamic, multi-cultural, fast-paced and highly demanding environment whilst being sufficiently organised to deliver upon tight deadlines and productivity metrics;
  • Ability to set priorities and to work with a high-level of drive, energy and speed with a strong customer focus on proactive problem solving, conflict resolution, continuous follow-up, and client retention;
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly MS office and macro commands;
  • A good understanding of Relational Database Systems is essential, whilst familiarity with IATA systems and Robotic Process Automation would be an asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all hierarchies and cultures; and
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, whilst proficiency in any other regional language would be an asset.
As IATA is servicing customers and members throughout the Asia Pacific region, candidates must be willing to work in dedicated shifts, possibly on weekends or official public holidays. Compensation applies in accordance with the local Conditions of Employment.
