What the role is:Assistant Manager, Land Titles RegistryWhat you will be working on:Process and register legal documents for all land transactions involving private, public, commercial and industrial properties within service standards; as well as ensure the accuracy and reliability of the Land Register SystemAssist members of the public as well as solicitors involved in the conveyancing processLiaise with other ministries and agencies e.g. CPF Board, URA, LTA, JTC and HDB on land registration mattersWhat we are looking for:Background in Law or Legal studies, or at least 3 to 5 years' experience as a conveyancing secretary in a law firmGood knowledge of land and conveyancing law practice and the relevant legislations, Land Titles Act, Land Titles (Strata) Act, Residential Property Act and other laws in areas such as bankruptcy, corporate, and trusts and successionOn-the-job training providedMeticulous, able to work under pressure and keen to learnAbout Singapore Land Authority:The mission of the Singapore Land Authority is to optimise land resources for the economic and social development of Singapore. It ensures the best use of State land and buildings, provides an effective and reliable land management system and enables the full use of land information for better land management.
