What the role is:Part of the Corporate Group in IMDA, the Finance Division seeks to perform efficient financial management and control necessary to support all line divisions and business activities within IMDA.You will be part of a dynamic team, leading the team on all financial policies, processes and controls to ensure good corporate governance and timely and accurate statutory reporting to all stakeholders.Accounts ReceivablePrompt review and approval on monthly accounts receivables journals.Prepare audit schedules and follow up on outstanding items.Periodic review of the fees and charges, working with stakeholders to ensure compliancePeriodic reporting to parent Ministry and MOFEstablish and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for accounts receivable, ensuring regulatory complianceSupport and provide advisory to the divisions on all receivables matter.Enhance the existing billing processes and involve in the revenue sub-systems integrations with WorkDay including system requirements, design, UAT and deploymentWork with the executives to improve the existing accounts receivables processes.Liaise with internal and external auditors on accounts receivables queries and requests.General LedgerPrepare/review daily bank reconciliations for bank accounts and follow up with discrepancies.Establish matching rules to facilitate automatic matching on bank receipts and transactions.Prepare quarterly variance analysis for management review.Including any other duties assigned by the supervisor.Pre-requisitesTertiary qualifications in in Accountancy / Finance with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in Government SectorPreferably a member of ISCAMust possess a good working attitude and analytical skillsMeticulous as well as able to work independently and under pressureGood communication and team playing skills are essentialKnowledge of WorkDay ERP would be an added advantagePrior experience in the public sector would be preferred.Position offered will be commensurate with experience.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.#LI-BR1About Info-communications Media Development Authority:Info-communications Media Development Authority (www.imda.gov.sg) offers a rewarding career that gives you a front seat in the fast-changing infocomm media sector, where technology and content are shaping the way people view the world more than ever.
