Join us to advance our mission and shape your future with us today!Learn more about GovTech at tech.gov.sg.What you will be working on:Assists the Senior Accounts Receivable Manager/ Assistant Director in day-to-day finance account receivables operations and ensure timely posting of billings, receipts, and journalsWork closely with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders on billing mattersDrive regular discussions with internal and external stakeholders to identify potential areas of continuous improvement and kick off and support continuous improvement programmesPerform month-end and year-end closing, ensuring all billings and journals are postedPerform audit schedules and reconciliation statements to ensure all outstanding items have been cleared timelyPrepare monthly dashboards to managementInvolve in financial year-end audit activities and other ad hoc auditsReview revenue contracts according to FRS115 revenue recognition for new products and servicesWork with outsourced vendor to ensure delivery of key performance indicators on processing billing and journal transactionsParticipate in the implementation of technology driven initiatives (e.g. Robotic Process Automation, Data Analytics)Draft Standard Operating Procedures to ensure they are up to date and ensure new processes are properly documented and signed offSupport ad-hoc requests and assist in various requests from senior managementWhat we are looking for:Degree in Accountancy with CA/ CPA or ACCA qualification or equivalentMinimum 6 years working experience in Financial Accounting and/or Auditing with the Big 4 or large accounting firmsPossess relevant working experience in driving or involvement in transformation initiativesWorkday experience is preferred but not compulsoryProactive and possess the drive and resourcefulness to introduce and implement new ideas, processes and procedures to job roles, work units or organisationSelf-motivated, meticulous, hands on, able to work independently and proactive team playerStrong accounting knowledge and application of Singapore FRS, particularly FRS 115 on Revenue RecognitionExcellent analytical and decision-making skillsDemonstrate excellent skills in managing multiple stakeholders under significant pressure and tight deadlinesWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company as we believe that diversity is meaningful to innovation.
