[What the role is]
You will be part of a team that is responsible for providing procurement policy & system support and upholding proper procurement governance in NEA.
[What you will be working on]
You will support the procurement functions in NEA by carrying out the following activities:
Oversee the existing procurement systems and ensure that the systems are able to meet the changing organisational requirements and address policy updates.
Provide system administration support for procurement systems to meet operational and regulatory requirements.
Identify business needs for digitisation and implement the solutions.
Perform data analytics and generate insights for procurement to drive improved decision making and development of effective and efficient procurement processes.
Conduct health check on procurement transactions to ensure governance and compliance, and prepare management dashboard for reporting to senior management.
Provide procurement advice to users on all stages of procurement cycle.
Support procurement policy and process review to improve operational efficiency whilst ensuring governance and compliance to IM on procurement, including exploring demand aggregation of goods and services and other procurement levers to achieve cost optimisation.
Improve outreach, conduct training and facilitate dialogue among the procurement community in NEA.
Standardise good practices on category sourcing across different business units which include review of procurement policies and procedures to improve cost and process efficiency, strengthen governance control and compliance, and support innovation.
[What we are looking for]
At least 5 years of experience in government procurement
Prior experience in system development, system administration, data analytics, website design and development is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in converting data and content into infographics
Good analytical, interpersonal, writing and presentation skills
Performance driven, result oriented with an attention to details and accuracy
Have a passion for procurement works and able to adapt to changes and work well under tight deadlines
Good team player
You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
