At Changi Airport, our critical infrastructure includes systems like the Baggage Handling System (BHS), Automated People Mover (APM, also known as Skytrain), and security screening X-ray machines. We\'re seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with the courage to challenge the status quo to join our Engineering and Development Cluster. Be part of a forward-thinking team at Changi Airport, where you\'ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and drive meaningful improvements in airport operations.As part of the Engineering and Development team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, testing, and implementing innovative ideas and projects aimed at enhancing manpower efficiency and system reliability. You will leverage advanced technologies such as robotics, IoT sensors, and data analytics to drive these improvements.Job Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of BHS, APM, and X-ray systems. Analyze operational data and maintenance records to identify and implement innovative solutions that boost efficiency and reliability.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including ground handling agents and CAG\'s outsourced maintenance contractors, to validate and refine innovative solutions.
• Evaluate proposals from potential contractors and manage innovation projects, including coordinating with stakeholders and overseeing contractor installation work.
• Create and execute test plans and assess results from live trials.
• Provide on-site support for the BHS team\'s Business Continuity Plan during BHS failures.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to minimize project delays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
• Knowledge of Python programming, data analytics, and data visualization software is a plus.
• Candidates with no work experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with product prototyping and embedded systems is advantageous.
