[What the role is]
You will be a core member of the procurement team who is responsible for upholding proper procurement governance in NEA and achieve best value for our purchases. You will ensure that government and NEA procurement policies and guidelines are applied accordingly and maintain high standard of integrity and transparency throughout the procurement value-chain.
[What you will be working on]
You will undertake the procurement functions in NEA in one or a few of the following areas:
Review quotation and tender documents for publication to ensure compliance with NEA\xe2\x80\x99s procurement policy and guidelines
Review quotation and tender evaluation reports to ensure value for money, fairness, transparency and compliance with NEA\xe2\x80\x99s procurement policies and guidelines
Improve outreach, conduct training and facilitate dialogue among the procurement community in NEA
Undertake studies of supply markets and proactively source and engage suppliers
Advise and guide departments in their daily purchases of goods and services, based on the procurement rules and guidelines
[What we are looking for]
At least 3 years of experience in government procurement or supply chain work
Familiar with Instruction Manual (IM) on Procurement, GeBIZ system and GeBIZ Management Console (GMC)
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power-point
Performance driven, adaptable and a good team player
Good IT and data analytical skills
You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
