Job Description

:
We are looking for a candidate to fill our Civil & Structural Engineering position at Gardens by the Bay. Gardens by the Bay is widely recognized as a world-class attraction and within our gardens, there are iconic building structures such as the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, Supertree Observatory, OCBC Skyway and Floral Fantasy.
As part of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upgrading of our iconic building structures which include regular maintenance, defects rectification and upgrading works. You will oversee the daily operations of our vendors and contractors in accordance with contract requirements and schedules, as well as liaise with other departments on the gardens' operational needs. You will manage project contracts to optimize project/ maintenance costs and ensure operationally viable solutions and maintenance of proper records for the facilities. You will also plan for regular maintenance of these facilities and equipment to ensure that they are in their proper working condition.
Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering

• 3-5 years of relevant Engineering and/ or Facilities Management experience preferably in large retail/ commercial, life-style complexes or similar attractions

• Good knowledge of building maintenance and upgrading contracts

• Creative, innovative, and resourceful in implementing cutting edge engineering technologies

• Good planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Good communication and negotiation skills
