What the role is:

The Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) undertakes the statutory functions in the rehabilitation of adult and youth offenders, and the protection of children, families and vulnerable adults (VAs). Our mission is to empower individuals and families to break cycles of abuse, neglect and offending. As part of the RPG family, the Adult Protective Service (APS) is a statutory service that leads in the policies and processes to safeguard the safety and well-being of individuals, families and vulnerable adults experiencing violence, abuse or neglect.

What you will be working on:

Your role under the Operations and Data Strategy (ODS) section is to support the strategisation, planning, project management and implementation of data and system management, and digital transformation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop, gather requirements and implement digitalization projects, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), to support the division in becoming leaner and more data-driven \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate closely with partners and stakeholders to on-board them as users of the data systems \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee and manage onboarding and offboarding of data system users \xe2\x80\xa2 Regularly monitor and evaluate information and data systems that could affect analytical results \xe2\x80\xa2 Support in the enhancement of IT/case management systems, including gathering information on user business process, user stories, communicating system enhancements required to the vendor \xe2\x80\xa2 Actively track and communicate status, risks and issues of the projects \xe2\x80\xa2 Project management such as ensuring that key tasks, schedule and budget are coordinated and well-organised

What we are looking for:

Technical/Functional Competencies: \xe2\x80\xa2 Degree in Economics, Computing, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or Mathematics preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 2 years of experience in Data and IT system management or project management preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of the government and social service/ health sectors is an advantage Generic Competencies: \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical, problem solving and writing skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous and able to work under tight deadlines \xe2\x80\xa2 Enjoy teamwork and able to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Driven to achieve results for the team \xe2\x80\xa2 Keen learner
