What the role is:The Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) undertakes the statutory functions in the rehabilitation of adult and youth offenders, and the protection of children, families and vulnerable adults (VAs). Our mission is to empower individuals and families to break cycles of abuse, neglect and offending. As part of the RPG family, the Adult Protective Service (APS) is a statutory service that leads in the policies and processes to safeguard the safety and well-being of individuals, families and vulnerable adults experiencing violence, abuse or neglect.What you will be working on:You will be part of the Operations and Data Strategy (ODS) section that is dedicated to leveraging data, evidence-based systems and technology to drive operational excellence and strategic decision-making for the APS. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the successful delivery of projects and initiatives, such as the development and implementation of decision-making tools for the VA protection cases. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges through data analysis and strategic planning. \xe2\x80\xa2 Contribute to and implement data-driven strategies while tapping on technology to optimize operational processes and drive efficiency. \xe2\x80\xa2 Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for operational and data initiatives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support in project planning and budget management of key projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide secretariat support for workgroup or meetings and for any tasks as required by the Director.What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field, such as Social Sciences and Data Science \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management is desirable \xe2\x80\xa2 Background in stakeholder management, with the ability to effectively engage and influence diverse stakeholders at all levels. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ample understanding of implementation science, data-driven evidence-based decision-making and operational strategy development. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences. \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines \xe2\x80\xa2 Enjoy teamwork and able to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in the public sector is a bonus.
