Assistant Manager / Manager (Strategic Marketing and Communications)

About the Role:

As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will take charge of marketing and publicity, including the management of digital marketing assets. Your role will involve crafting and executing integrated

marketing communication plans to promote the three institutions and their offerings effectively. You will collaborate with public/media

relations agencies, manage media buying, and engage creative agencies to create tailored publicity campaigns across various market segments, especially on the digital realm. Additionally, you will oversee digital content updates, digital asset maintenance, and partnerships to drive visitorship. Your contribution will be pivotal in documenting, analysing, and enhancing our visitor outreach strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing communication plans for maximum exposure of the National Museum of Singapore, CCM and RBC.
  • Manage digital content updates for both institutions.
  • Maintain digital marketing assets (including but not limited to websites, social media pages, electronic direct mailers) for the three institutions with an emphasis on CCM and RBC, including content development and copywriting.
  • Initiate and manage joint promotions and partnerships to boost visitor numbers.
  • Facilitate photography, filming requests, and media visits to both institutions.
  • Establish and manage an image/video bank for documentation and marketing purposes.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis of visitor numbers, visit patterns, and promotion effectiveness.
  • Coordinate administrative and financial management tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in digital content development, web design / multimedia, Photoshop, and video editing skills are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in marketing communications, preferably in the arts and heritage sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven.
  • Strong multitasking ability, with experience in project management and government procurement considered a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary to meet the demands of the role.
  • Residing in Singapore at the time of application.
