Job Description

Location: Jurong East (Near MRT)

Contract Duration: asap till June 2023

Budget: Up to $6,500.00

Completion bonus: 1 month

This is a Contract assignment till June 2023.

:

For Projects:

• Liaise with market accounting team and business analysts to ensure accounting posting books are complete and in alignment with functional designs
• Provide standard and best practices which are in accordance with company policy and other regional solutions
• Manage the accounting test cases and ensure these are tested in accordance with business scenarios and completed in each UAT rounds, in alignment with functional testing
• Support data migration template and reconciliation process during DB migration
• Liaise with data migration team and service operations during cutover including data migration and pre/post reconciliation during system implementation
• Drive the discussion with system vendor, IT and business analysts to report and resolve accounting issues.
• Setup accounting reconciliation tool for each rollout markets at go-live
• Provide post go-live support for critical accounting issues

Cost management:

• Support corporate audit finding items when required
• Perform half yearly reconciliation process of Netsol invoices for APAC region

Education

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent;
• Strong IFRS knowledge, preferably knowledge in lease accounting (finance lease, operating lease).
• Strong knowledge of end to end accounting processes including receipting, payment, month end process and reporting.

Experience

• At least 5 years work experience in Finance & Accounting, knowledge in SAP an advantage
• Detailed and analytical, able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong communication skills, able to communicate and explain accounting terms to other departments.
• Able to travel at short notice for potentially a period of 2-4 weeks at a time.
