This position is responsible for supervising an operations team in managing warehouse operations

activities.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

\xef\x82\xb7 Assist the Operations Manager in managing and coordinating the day to day activities of

the warehouse operations.

\xef\x82\xb7 Lead the team to achieve the department\xe2\x80\x99s KPI goals.

\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare, maintain and update documentation of processes to meet accounts requirement

and changes in customer requirements.

\xef\x82\xb7 To ensure work processes are following documented procedures and proper housekeeping

of the warehouse.

\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure timely processing of all inbound and outbound activities.

\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure the highest degree of efficiency is always maintained.

\xef\x82\xb7 Supervises and monitors the performance of employees to ensure standard practices and

proper care of using the equipment, materials and supplies in the warehouse.

\xef\x82\xb7 Supervise the distribution flow, and the transportation activities.

\xef\x82\xb7 Provide on-the-job training to warehouse staff.

\xef\x82\xb7 Perform inventory reconciliation on stock discrepancy.

\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure timely updating of WMS on stocks return and follow-up system updates of closeout

items.

\xef\x82\xb7 Manage inventory accuracy via planned cycle count, monthly inventory reconciliation,

inventory analysis and related reports.

\xef\x82\xb7 Highlight to Operations Manager for any irregularity in the warehouse.

\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure warehouse operations safety and security.

\xef\x82\xb7 Assist the Operations Manager in implementation of work improvement projects.

\xef\x82\xb7 Communicates with customer on operations and service issues.

\xef\x82\xb7 Maintain complete visibility of all current and cargo movements.

\xef\x82\xb7 Participate in customer meetings and manage transportation service providers.

\xef\x82\xb7 Evaluate service levels, review processes and procedures, identify areas for improvement,

and establish and execute action plans.

\xef\x82\xb7 Provide training, coaching, and support to assigned personnel to enable them to effectively

perform their jobs.

\xef\x82\xb7 Monitor and track all warehouse, transportation and administrative costs associated with

their assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications Summary

Experience:

This position requires 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in logistics and warehousing with wine & spirits

industry.

Education:

Diploma

Skills:

\xef\x82\xb7 Strong organizational and time management skills; specifically documentation of all

issues, communication with customers and transporters.

\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent knowledge in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and able to generate

and analyze inventory reports

\xef\x82\xb7 Good understanding Customer requirements for business account

\xef\x82\xb7 Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc

\xef\x82\xb7 Good leadership skills

\xef\x82\xb7 Able to use systematic approach in decision-making

\xef\x82\xb7 Exhibit good judgment and understanding of issues

\xef\x82\xb7 Good working knowledge of the following operations areas \xe2\x80\x93 distribution, manufacturing,

inventory planning, network analysis, materials management.

\xef\x82\xb7 Good Interpersonal skills

\xef\x82\xb7 Good Communication skills

\xef\x82\xb7 Proven transportation /logistics / supply chain management knowledge

\xef\x82\xb7 Good customer relationship management skills
