Job Description


Job Summary

  • Oversee a team that supports the Senior Care Centres (SCCs) and Active Ageing Centres (AACs) through corporate functions of Human Resources, Finance, Facilities Management and Operations.
  • Develop and standardise operational processes to ensure the efficient functioning of the senior care centres clinically and administratively.
  • Participate in the developing service strategies and policies for SASC.
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational work processes of the SCCs and AACs to achieve standardisation, operational efficiency and meet service quality objectives.
  • Oversee centralised work processes in the areas of billing, claim submission for healthcare financing schemes and subsidies (ILTC, CPF, SMF etc) and financial audits and ensure timely reporting to the management.
  • Oversee the implementation of the staff induction programme and training and development framework to maximise the performance of SCC/ AAC staff in supporting their personal/ professional growth in the organisation, and fulfilling the community needs through the organisational directives,
  • Oversee the management of service agreements and contracts for all SCCs to ensure prompt renewal and service support.
  • Work with the teams of corporate functions of Finance, HR, IT to integrate/ align internal work processes to meet organizational standards.
  • Evaluate operational issues and work with relevant staff to make sound plans for resolution promptly.
  • Stay abreast of changes and / or updates in relevant policies, procedures, and regulations of the community care sector and review work processes accordingly to meet the needs.
  • Carry out other responsibilities and duties as assigned from time to time, e.g. cover duties of centre manager or executive staff in his/her absence.
Job Requirements
  • Recognized general degree or equivalent from a recognized university is required.
  • Additional qualification in a healthcare discipline, eg. Social work, nursing or allied health would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare or related field.
  • Has experience and passion to pioneer community care services in support of the national focus on care integration for the aging population.
  • Good knowledge of the health care environment and service processes is important. Experience in community care provision is an advantage.
  • Highly motivated and able to maintain good interpersonal relationships and in collaboration with various partners in the healthcare system.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work well with all departments.
  • Enjoys challenges and able to work with tight timelines when needed.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
